Inquiry is essential to educated design. In order to create spaces that are relevant to a particular audience, designers must get a coherent view of the project. It is necessary to seek out the expectations, requirements and wishes of the intended audience.

This can be done through an inquiry process of collaboration and observation. Yet, even with the most calculated inquiry process gains cannot be made without the most essential component – that of listening.
